It replaces the text in the editor; Undo brings yours back. On plans with saved documents it opens as a new document.

Build it from scratch

  1. Put your name, class and date on the first line, then the essay’s title as a heading.
  2. Paste the essay. Each paragraph starts on a new line, as it would on paper.
  3. In the look bar, choose Print, Wide Ruled and US Letter. Write on the lines turns on by itself, so every line sits on a printed rule.
  4. Choose Font 96, one of the most popular handwritings: even and easy to read over a whole page.
  5. Set realism to Natural: words and line starts move a little, as in real writing.
  6. Check the page and press Download.

Variations

On the free plan: keep Font 96 and Wide Ruled, and choose A4 instead of US Letter.

Longer essays: the text runs onto as many pages as it needs, and the page bar shows them all.
